Local Farmers’ Markets Showcase the Flavors of Summer

What better way is there to spend a sunny summer morning than attending one of Westchester County’s local farmers’ markets? Taste the fares our region has to offer and meet the people the who make it possible. Expect fresh products, fair prices, music, and lots of smiling faces. Farmers’ markets are all over the county this summer. Here’s a few to check out near you!
Market: Pleasantville Farmers’ Market
Where: The summer outdoor market is located at Memorial Plaza (next to the Metro North Pleasantville train station). The winter indoor market occurs at the Pleasantville Middle School, 40 Romer Avenue, Pleasantville.
When: The outdoor market runs through November 20 on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00pm. The indoor market runs Saturdays, December 5 through March 26, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Market: Chappaqua Farmers’ Market
Where: Outside the Metro North Chappaqua train station
When: Saturdays, May 8 through November 13, from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Market: Muscoot Farm Farmers’ Market
Where: Muscoot Farm (51 Route 100, Katonah)
When: Sundays, May 8 through November 13, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Market: John Jay Homestead Farm Market
Where: 400 Jay Street, Katonah
When: Saturdays through October 30, from 9 a.m. until 1p.m.
Market: Down To Earth Farmers’ Market of Rye
Where: Theodore Fremd Ave, Rye
When: Sundays, May 22 through December 4, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Market: White Plains Farmers’ Market
Where: 255 Main Street, White Plains
When: Wednesdays through November 26, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
