Coach Repa and Bobcats

Junior Bobcat Repa Camp is Back

March 29, 2016
The Armonk Youth Sports Foundation is holding its eighth annual Ted Repa and David Mack's basketball camp. Byram Hills current and alumni baksetball players work as coaches for the one week only camp from Monday, June 27 to Thursday, June 30.

"Repa Camp" is held at Byram Hills High School from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. This is a chance for boys ages 9-15 to get a head start to learn the Bobcat basketball system.

The daily schedule is filled with speed drills, skill challenges, and agility training at different stations, as well as lectures. The players practice as a team, with concentration on the fundamental skills of the Bobcat system.

Games provide a great daily workout for campers, while also allowing them to win daily prizes and awards. Campers bring their own lunch and eat together.

The camp directors, Repa and Mack, provide large group instruction and keep things running smoothly. Coach Ted Repa, Byram Hills High School Varsity Coach, is a five-time “Coach of the Year” recipient and a former collegiate player. Coach Mack is a Byram Hills Assistant Varsity Coach.

Under Coach Repa, the Byram Hills basketball program has accomplished some stellar sectional championships: 2016 Class A Sectional Champions, 2015 Section 1 Finalists, 2013 Section 1 Finalists, 2012 Section 1 Semi-Finalists, and 2011 Class A Sectional Champions.

The camp basketball coaches are current and former Byram Hills players who help run the stations, coach and referee the games. “It’s a lot of fun for both campers and coaches,” says Repa.

Please register for the Junior Bobcats Camp before June 1 as space is limited. Email to reserve a spot. The camp fee for early registration--before June 1--is $300. After June 1 the fee is $350. A special discount of $25 off is available for multiple family members.
